About this activity
This two-day trek walks Pekoe stages 2 and 3, from Galaha through Loolkandura to Tawalantenne, about 32.8 kilometres. Stage 3 is the longer and steeper day. The starting rate is 130 US dollars with a guide, transfers from Kandy, and the night between the stages. Carry the official trail pass.
Skip stage 1 if you already know you want the older tea land and the long day over the pass. You still should not stack both stages into a single dawn-to-dark march. The night at Loolkandura is what makes stage 3 safe to start fresh.
Note: About 32.81 km on foot. Pickup in Kandy at 7:00 a.m. Drop-off Kandy, day 2 evening.
