About this activity
Stages 1 to 3 of the Pekoe Trail make a three-day walk from Hantana to Tawalantenne, about 45.7 kilometres, with nights between the stages. Stage 3 is the demanding day, at 18.11 kilometres. The trip starts and ends in Kandy, from 160 US dollars. You need the official Pekoe Trail pass as well as the guiding fee.
This is the fullest way to walk the Kandy end of the tea trail without jumping ahead to Horton Plains. The first two days teach you the pace. The third day, over the old estate tracks toward Tawalantenne, is why the trip is graded harder than a single easy stage. Luggage can ride in the vehicle when you would rather carry a day pack.
Note: About 45.65 km on foot. Pickup in Kandy at 7:30 a.m. Drop-off Kandy, day 3 evening.

Loolkandura to Tawalantenne, 18.11 km, then the transfer to Kandy.
